Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) Contact Information
In order to fly solo as a student or private pilot (sport pilots are exempt from the medical certificate regulation), a medical certificate is required (with some exceptions occurring 1 May, 2017). Dr. Joe Flynn has an office conveniently located few miles from Space Coast Regional Airport (KTIX) and offers First through Third Class Medical Certificates. Before an exam can be given, the pilot must fill out a MedXPress form and bring it to the appointment.
The FAA MedXPress system allows anyone requesting an FAA Medical Clearance or Medical Certificate to electronically complete an application. Information entered into MedXPress is available to your FAA-designated Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) for review at the time of your medical examination. Watch the AOPA video explaining how to acquire your respective Medical Certificate and click the respective buttons below to begin your MedXPress application and contact Dr. Flynn today!
